| 8/14/11 Hi Bob, I got POH toothbrushes (#4) from my dentist for a while, and was bummed when he started supplying gimmicky brushes instead. I luckily found your website. I have a small mouth, and still have wisdom teeth. The teeth at the back of my mouth are crowded and not entirely lined up straight, so I appreciate the fact that your bristles aren't as long as others and allow me to comfortably reach and clean the gum line at the back of my mouth. Thanks for your great website and products.

6/2/2011 Thank goodness you’re still there. I think this must be my 4th order. Generally, the orders last about 10 years or so. I’ve been using POH floss since 1967, when a dentist in Detroit, MI gave me a little container and told me to use it every single night. I had never even thought about using dental floss unless I had something caught in my teeth. At the time, I had my whole mouth reworked. My teeth were full of cavities and cavities under old fillings. It took about 5 appointments to finally get everything back into shape. The dentist told me that I’d lose my teeth by the time I was 40 if I didn’t brush morning and night and never, ever go to bed without flossing. For years I bought your product in local drug stores, but then about 30 years ago, I couldn’t find it any longer. I located POH from the label on the little container, called you, and at the time I think I ordered 5 dozen. The floss that I keep getting at the dentist just gets put in my Good Will bag about every two years. By the way, since 1967, no new cavities. I have all of my original teeth. Glad you’re still there. I’m glad I’m still here, too.

2/22/2011 Did we do right? Frank says: Great service. Fast shipping. I was introduced to POH floss by my dentist several years ago. He handed it out along with a toothbrush after each visit. I can find it occasionally at a couple of local drugstores. Was happy to find your on-line resource! Thanks for a great product!
2/15/10 Pamela, Boulder CO - As a youngster (50 or so years ago), I had terrible periodontal disease, despite normal once a day brushing. Our suburban Chicago dentist did not know what to advise me. In fact, he felt all he could do was cut away the worst of my diseased gums. A decade later, I married and moved to Boulder, Colorado where our new young dentist sent me to a periodontist and after that took me in hand and taught me how use POH floss and brushes properly. He PROMISED me that if I would do this faithfully, I would NEVER have periodontal disease again! So, I'm 67 now, still going to that same dentist, bless his heart, and tho I bear the marks of my early oral misadventures, I have followed Dr. Jay's teaching DAILY and have NEVER, EVER had gum disease or seen a periodontist again. My teeth have had a goodly amount of dental work, but are still living with me happily ever after.
12/2/09 Joanne, MT Prospect IL - I love POH dental floss, so much so, that I buy it in bulk. I keep one at work, in my car, in the basket by the sofa, near my craft table in the basement, etc, etc. Oh, yes, and in my purse also!

Did We Do Right? Jane Says: Yes - My order arrived surprisingly soon
and in fine shape. Over 20 years ago, my Mother was seeing a
periodontist who used to give her a P.O.H. No. 1 toothbrush at every
visit. She had a bunch of them in her linen closet. Once, when I was
visiting, she gave me one. I liked it so much, that I found you (before
the days of the Internet and email) and started ordering them for
myself. I've used the No. 1 for over 20 years and I love it. I order
three dozen at a time and change them at least monthly. Plus, I give a
few away, as my mother did. Each time I see a dentist or oral
hygienist, they compliment me on how well I am doing with my flossing.
I'm embarrassed to tell them that I only floss when I feel like I have
some food particles caught between my teeth. The P.O.H. No. 1 keeps my
teeth and gums in terrific condition! Thanks so much for a great
product.
9/10/07 Valerie - I love your product. I use it on patients daily. Unfortunately the Dr I work for is purchasing other samples at the moment. I will personally continue to use POH and I do give out the patient order forms for the buypoh web site. If you have more of those I would give them to my patients that really appreciate squeaky clean teeth!
9/7/07 Andrew O, Olney MD - I just prefer plain straight-handled toothbrushes, which anymore are becoming increasingly difficult, if not impossible, to find. Various dentists throughout my dental history have given me complimentary plain toothbrushes & yours is one of the few name brands I can remember, who actually still make a plain straight-handled toothbrush. Keep up the good work . . . squash those funky-bristled, bent/ergonomic-handled, mass-marketed, gimmicky toothbrush manufacturers!! Shame on them -- a toothbrush shouldn't cost more than a $1.00!

I had always loved taking care of my teeth (LOVED my every 6 month dental appointment since I've been in kindergarten) but was always a terrible flosser. Would floss for a week or two after each appointment and then stop. Felt guilty at every appointment. Then in January 2006 two very important things happened. As a first year student in medical school, I had a lecture about the histology of the teeth, showing a cutaway side view of the teeth and gums, and was shocked to see the huge "gap" between them where stuff accumulates when you don't floss. My histology teacher gave a flippant "That's where the floss goes, and when you don't floss your teeth fall out". That same week I went to Whole Foods and tried a new floss, the POH NoWax. I fell in love with it, and have flossed no less than 30 days a month ever since. It was a remarkable change.
POH is such a pleasure to use because of it's thin size and I love being able to "see" more that I'm scraping away than I could with thicker floss, and not having to "fight" to get it in between my teeth. I've regularly given out POH floss to all my friends and family (and this morning to a friend at my kickboxing class) because I think it is so important. I came on the website today because last week I did not see the POH floss at it's usual spot in my market, so I'm going to start ordering online. I'm also excited to try the black floss so I can "see" the plaque removal -- how fun!
I also have a friend in dental school who I tell about your products and how he should stock them in his office.
Keep up the good work so I can continue to use and recommend POH floss for a lifetime! :)
